What we believe:

Books shape young minds and young minds shape societies. We want to provide the books.

At Young Citizens Society, we believe the future belongs to the children of today. We believe that to have better societies, we need more informed citizens, particularly young students. Regardless of class, color, or creed, we believe the opportunity to be a more informed citizen is an unalienable right. If society is ever to improve, we believe it starts with the education of its younger citizenry.

What we do:

We purchase books for students, generally from underprivileged backgrounds, and focus on subjects that are under-emphasized in current curriculums. We strive to promote active participation in civic society by giving books and harboring a platform where freedom of thought and critical thinking can flourish.

With every book you give, you can not only inform but also inspire, to light the fire deep within hungry minds who won’t be satisfied until the society that is rightfully theirs burns brighter.
