Teachers: Higher Power and Nature
"All things for which 'we need the help of fortune and the gods.'" - Meditations, Marcus Aurelius
This quote resonates with Marcus and me, for he believes that all he has accomplished, whilst it be the fruits of his labor, has only happened because of "the gods." Marcus believes in a higher power, one that continues to look over the people, not to bring change, but just to bring order. This can bring change upon people’s lives through gratitude, for where we as people end up in day-to-day life is partly by hard work but also by the nature of our parents and happenstance. Marcus was very reflective and grateful for those who taught him, as a society we should be more grateful of our teachers, including that of nature.
